A Love Story Rooted in Two Cultures
Some weddings are a single day. Others are a journey, one that unfolds slowly, across sunsets, ceremonies, and open water, until every person who matters most has had their moment within it.
This is the story of Rebecca and Qaisar, two Americans who chose the Algarve coastline to celebrate a love shaped by two very different heritages, and a wedding weekend that reflected exactly who they are.
Rebecca and Qaisar’s story is one of blended traditions, she American, he American with Arab heritage, and from the very first conversation, it was clear their wedding needed to hold space for both. Planning began early, with the couple reaching out to ADW in May 2025, exactly one year before their wedding date. That year of collaboration culminated on 27th May 2026, at one of the Algarve’s most iconic addresses: Pine Cliffs Resort.
In a deeply personal touch, the ceremony was officiated by the groom’s own sister, a choice that added warmth, familiarity, and meaning to every word exchanged that day.
Three Days of Celebration in the Algarve
Rather than a single event, Rebecca and Qaisar chose to celebrate across three full days, each one designed and coordinated by our team from first toast to final dance.
Day One: Rooftop Sunset Drinks
The celebration opened gently, with guests gathering for rooftop drinks as the Algarve sky turned gold, an intimate welcome before the main event.
Day Two: The Wedding Day at Pine Cliffs Resort
The heart of the weekend: vows exchanged with 91 guests in attendance, all close family and friends. The bridal party stayed true to that same spirit of intimacy, the bride’s sister as maid of honour, the groom’s brother as best man, and their shared niece as flower girl, weaving both families together in every role that mattered.
Day Three: A Boat Trip Along the Algarve Coast
The weekend closed on the water, with a private boat trip complete with food and a live DJ, one final celebration, sun on the horizon, before goodbyes.
